Adrianne and I were married on the picturesque Woollaston Estates winery in Mahana early this year (2007). The lead-up to the wedding was hectic to say the least, and left us with 7 weeks to plan our wedding. However, the wedding itself could best be described as perfect! With striking weather that only Nelson can provide, a fabulous outlook over the vineyard across the Tasman bay, and surrounded by wonderful friends, we shared our vows and celebrated into the night. Our day was simply divine. The underlying recipe for such a perfect day was a decent helping of good fortune, and a spectacular core of people working behind the scenes.  

Choosing a photographer was one of the most important considerations we had to make with the wedding, and the decision was not taken lightly. After all, it is the photos that serve as springboards for the many special memories of that wonderful day - some memories that would otherwise be lost in time. After speaking to many people, and seeing her work at the markets, Geri was a clear first choice for us. Once we met her we felt immediately at ease and knew we had made the right choice.  

On the day Geri was fantastic! During the service we didn't even notice her, and during the photos afterwards she managed the bridal party and guests with ease. With two teachers in the wedding party she had her work cut out for her, but the photo session was effortless and we all had a blast.  

When the photos arrived we were stuck with a dilemma - usually it is immediately obvious what the 'best' photos are, and these can be disseminated to the appropriate rellies - but with Geri's photos they were all so fantastic we still cannot choose! With her attention to detail, she not only managed to capture a visual story of our special day, but also captured the feeling of the day perfectly. And with that she captured our hearts.
